The color moment

Match while it’s damp

Yellowish means in range. Darker means outside. The foil scale on the pouch is the guide — always.

About 4.0–4.4

Yellowish on the pouch scale = within the normal range.

Above 4.4

Darker brown, green, or blue toward 7.0 = outside the normal range.

How we’re different

One piece. Not a choreography.

Built as an integrated applicator — not a separate swab, then a strip, then a wait.

Typical drugstore kits

Swab, then strip

Separate cotton swab and paper strip — more steps, more chance to fumble the read.

Clear scope

What this isn’t

Honest limits make the read more useful — not less.

  • Not a diagnosis of disease
  • Not a test for specific infections or STIs
  • Not a substitute for the full insert
  • Not a reason to panic after one out-of-range read

Questions

FAQ

Short answers. Clear scope.

What does this check measure?

Vaginal fluid pH — whether it’s within the normal range on the insert’s color scale.

Does it diagnose an infection?

No. It reads pH only — not the presence of any infection.

What if I’m outside the normal range once?

One out-of-range read isn’t a reason to worry. Retest later as the insert says. If it’s still out — or you have symptoms — talk with your doctor.

How fast is the read?

Immediate. Match the color while the zone is still damp.

When should I wait?

Timing after sex, products, periods, and more matters. Follow the insert — don’t invent a shortcut.

Can I use this while pregnant?

Ask your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant.

What’s inside

Test type
Rapid semiquantitative assay for vaginal fluid pH. For in vitro diagnostic use by self-testing.

Normal range (IFU)
Color-scale interpretation on the pouch: about 4.0–4.4 (yellowish) = normal range; above 4.4 (darker brown/green/blue) = outside the normal range. The insert also notes a physiological pH of about 3.8 to 4.5 as considered normal.

Important notes
The applicator determines only the pH value, not the presence of any infection. An acidic pH does not ensure protection against infections. If symptoms persist despite a normal pH, contact your doctor.

Timing before testing (IFU)
At least 12 hours after sexual activity; at least 12 hours after vaginal products; only 3–4 days after the end of a period if not pregnant; at least 15 minutes after urination.

Kit contents
Test device, pH color scale on the foil bag, and instructions for use.

How to check

1. Wash and dry your hands. Check the pouch for damage.
2. Read the instructions for use.
3. Open the pouch and grip the applicator handle as shown in the insert (keep fingers off the pH zone).
4. Insert about 1 inch as you would a tampon; press gently against the vaginal wall for about 10 seconds to moisten the pH zone.
5. Remove and immediately compare the color to the scale on the foil while still damp.
6. Dispose of the applicator with household waste.

If color is not uniform, the test may not have been performed properly — see LIT-IFU-GN041ST-US-EN.
